Another Day, Another Blog

Some days, you think you're a ghost. You do everything online to market yourself for a job. Write the cover letter, submit the resume, filling out those annoying Taleo applications that you know NO ONE will ever read. You tried to network your friends in finding an opening anywhere....and nothing,...not a single tip. For someone that was known to know everybody, it's a frustrating situation. Fifteen months, over 1000 applications, and all I get is opportunities selling financial planning with shady life insurance companies who somehow, without you never submitting a request, always find your resume. It seems my public persona is one who has everything under control, who is always optimistic and is going to always land on my feet. Well, I'm free falling right now, and if no one looks out, I may just land on you, unless I am a ghost and that wind you feel was me buzzing right by you...

Really a sad day. Adam Yauch, MCA of the Beastie Boys died today. It makes you realize how influential the Beasties were not only in Music, but in the culture of my generation.

Had a great time yesterday watching all 6 Avenger movies lasting 14 hours at the Alamo Drafthouse. (Thanks Lou for the ticket!). Being this is also International Star Wars Day. I thought this is the perfect clip for today.







Overall I was glad to see all the Avenger movies together. So many hints were dropped over the last six years you forgot how organized Marvel was in planning for this new movie. Still, sitting in a chair for 14 hours was tough but I'll get through today when I get feeling back in my legs!

OK so I forgot about this account, for um, SIX YEARS! Like a time capsule, that single picture with my first daughter, (I now have two) is showing it been awhile. SO expect a lot more coming up. Of course nobody was following me so it's a self post, but wait. People will see this, ha!
